Earlier this week was my sweet hubby’s birthday. He’s not much of a birthday kinda guy, he doesn’t really do gifts, in other words, he’s super chill haha. I still wanted to give him some kind of celebration because i mean, the guy deserves it! For those who know him very well, know that spence REALLY likes hotels. He loves experiencing all kinds of different hotels and what they have to offer and he just loves how clean they always are. So much that he showers and puts on clean clothes right before any hotel stay hahaha. So i thought, mhm why not take him for a little hotel getaway for his birthday!

We had the pleasure of staying at Radisson Blu Chicago for a one night getaway and it was great! As soon as we walked in everyone was so attentive and helpful. We checked-in and went up to our room. Once we were in our room it gave me a lot of Miami vibes. It was very bright, clean and spacious! We went down and toured a little bit of the hotel and it was HUGE! Loved the way they decorated the place. They even have a restaurant that also gave me all the miami vibes haha it was great!

My favorite part of the hotel was the location. It is in the most perfect spot. It’s in walking distance from the Magnificent Mile, which is the most touristy place in all Chi. You have a river walk, the bean, art museums, all the best retail stores… like i said best part of Chi. Let’s talk about the views. They were STUNNING! I love city views but we also got a glimpse of the lake which was really cool!

It’s safe to say we very much enjoyed our stay at Radisson Blu and we definitely recommend checking it out if you’re wanting to visit the city and stay close to all the touristy places. No uber needed!
