Bringing In The New Year
OK guys, is it just me or did 2016 go by SO insanely quick!?!?! Oh how time flies! On this blog post I essentially want to talk about my 2017 goals. But before we get into that, I want to just take a moment and reflect on all the wonderful things that happened in my life this year. 2016 was definitely the most amazing year of my life so far. I'm definitely not trying to brag but DANG this year was awesome!!!
MY 2016:
-I got engaged to my Janis boy
-Got married
-Moved out of my parents house (for the first time ever!) to San Diego and start this new life.
-Started a new job
-Became a mommy! (to my sweet puppy Buster)
-Have honestly traveled more than I ever have before haha
-And finally started my blog!
So many GREAT things happened this past year, and I am SO GREATFUL for every single one!!! Last year, I had two New Years resolutions such as: being a better daughter and becoming a better cook (Im for sure still working on the cooking part BUT im slowly but surely getting there haha). Throughout the years, my New Years resolutions have become more meaningful! (I guess some people, like my parents would say...Im getting older and wiser haha). For this upcoming year my objective is to LOVE. I have such a strong aspiration to be a better wife, to be a better daughter, to be a better person. I want to be that person in which everyone wants to spend time with. To be the person that brings happiness to people. The person who only gives good vibes and helps the world become a better place. Im not perfect, of course. I will always have things to work on to make me a better human being, but my main goal from this day on, is to spread love and affection as much as I possibly can to all those that surround me. After all there is only one happiness in this life and that is to love and be loved. I can't wait to see what God has in store for me in 2017, but I know it will be SO SO great!!! I hope this post inspired you and I wish everyone a wonderful rest of your Holiday Season!!! Spend lots of time with family, love a lot, laugh a lot, eat a lot, get lots of prezzies and be safe!
Much Love, Laura
