Hi all! This post is written by Spencer, for a very special occasion. If you are reading this, then Laura and I have completed OUR FIRST YEAR OF MARRIAGE!!! I yelled that because my whole life I have been told that the first year is the hardest. I can't tell you if that is true just yet because one year is all I've got, but I can tell you that this year has hands-down been the best year of my life.

This one's for you babycakes. If this year was supposed to be the hardest for us, then we are going to have an amazing happily ever after.

What can I say about love that hasn't already been said, written, or sung. The truth is, love is so incredibly complex that we humans have only scratched the surface in understanding it fully. What we do know is that love is necessary for human survival. Your love is necessary for my survival.

I want to share with you the top 3 things that I have learned about you and us that I didn't know before I married you:

1. Our love keeps growing. I know that when we were dating I told you that I loved you as much as humanly possible, but that was a lie. Sorry. I love you a lot more now than I did back then. I will definitely love you more in a year than I do right now.
2. Your love language is quality time. Like my mother. Nothing makes you happier in the entire world than spending some quality alone time with the people in your life that you love and care about.
3. Loyalty to your family, yourself, and your ambitions. You'd go to the edge of the earth and back to defend your family, or justify yourself, or accomplish what you have set out to accomplish.

I am so incredibly proud of you. Thank you for sticking out this year with me, it has been incredible. I'm looking forward to many many many more. I love you babe <3
